Job summary

Trader Hire is seeking independent contractor proprietary traders to trade equities and options using firm capital. You will develop, test, and refine your personal trading strategies across stocks and options markets with structured risk management and professional coaching support in a fully remote environment.

Location: Jackson, MS area with fully remote work; Capital: initial up to $50,000 with path to $500,000+; Compensation: 65–90% of profits; commercial independence supported by capital

Qualifications

• 2+ years of real-money trading experience in derivatives or currency markets.
• Ability to articulate your trading edge and the data that supports it.
• Disciplined risk management process with documented sizing and stop rules.
• Strong work ethic and genuine interest in trading as a long-term profession.
• Reliable hardware, software, and internet appropriate for active trading.
• Prior experience on professional or institutional platforms is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute high-probability options setups across U.S. listed equity markets.
• Use options Greeks (delta, gamma, theta, vega) to construct positions with deliberate exposures.
• Apply portfolio-level risk controls to manage concentration, correlation, and drawdown.
• Review fills, P&L, and execution quality daily to refine your trading process.
• Keep an organized trade journal capturing both quantitative and qualitative observations.
• Participate in regular peer reviews and trader development sessions as desired.
