Job summary

Trader Hire is seeking independent contractor traders to trade equities and options using firm capital in a fully remote setup. The role emphasizes developing personal strategies, with structured risk controls and coaching support, from anywhere with a reliable setup.

Engagement is 1099, with compensation purely performance-based as profit splits from 65% to 90% and firm-funded starting capital up to $50,000, growing over time. Remote work and scalable capital are core features.

Qualifications

• Two years or more of demonstrated trading experience with documented results preferred.
• Knowledge of liquidity, volatility, risk-adjusted return.
• Proven disciplined execution under live conditions.
• Coachable mindset and openness to feedback from peers and risk staff.
• Reliable home setup with backup power/connectivity is a plus.
• Familiarity with professional charting and order entry platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute options strategies including directional, spread, and volatility plays.
• Analyze implied volatility, Greeks, and options pricing models.
• Manage multi-leg options positions with risk protocols.
• Monitor and adjust open positions based on market conditions and Greeks changes.
• Maintain logs of all options trades and strategy rationale.
• Optionally collaborate with a network of remote traders for insights and growth.
