Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an entry-level Proposal Analyst/Technical Writer to help win federal business by translating complex solicitation requirements into clear, compliant content and to produce user guides, SOPs, and training materials for programs and customers.

In this fully remote role within the United States, you will interview SMEs, support past performance and resume development, and collaborate with capture, proposal, and delivery professionals to grow expertise across government customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1–3 years of relevant experience, or commensurate experience.
• Experience responding to government solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, etc.).
• Ability to write compliant and compelling proposal sections for government solicitations.
• Experience writing for IT solutions (past performance, resumes).
• Proficiency in MS Office and document templates/branding standards.

Responsibilities

• Translate solicitation requirements into compliant, compelling proposal content.
• Draft, edit, format, and proofread responses to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs.
• Interview SMEs to translate technical concepts into user-friendly content.
• Develop technical documentation including user guides, SOPs, and training materials.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure consistency, quality, and on-time delivery.
