Aon is seeking a Production Underwriting Professional focused on Commercial Property Catastrophe (Flood & Wind) with a remote US work option. The role drives profitable growth, pricing, and underwriting for complex risks while building strong broker and client relationships.

The ideal candidate blends technical underwriting expertise with sales and portfolio management discipline, balancing new business production with profitability within delegated authority.

Qualifications

• Experience underwriting commercial property insurance risks.
• Knowledge of catastrophe coverages, including flood and wind exposures.
• Strong analytical, sales, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to evaluate complex risk information and make sound underwriting decisions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and triage new business submissions to grow a profitable portfolio of commercial property catastrophe business.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, agents, and carrier partners.
• Understand coverage features and authority limits to identify new business opportunities.
• Meet or exceed production, retention, and revenue objectives.
• Structure coverage solutions within delegated authority and document underwriting files.
• Utilize catastrophe modeling platforms and CRM tools to support underwriting decisions.
