Job summary

Roofstock, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to deliver outstanding service to investors. You will become familiar with the portfolio operating procedures, execute at a high level, and ensure optimal performance while managing expectations across state lines.

This role requires adaptability, meticulous attention to detail, and clear communication. You will collaborate with Roofstock teams, support leasing, maintenance, resident services, and accounting to keep operations smooth as

Qualifications

• Active Real Estate License required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of residential or commercial property management experience.
• Experience working directly with property ownership is a plus.
• Cost and revenue management experience highly preferred.
• Tech-savvy with experience in multiple property management software systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-driven and able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio in line with investors’ changing goals and objectives.
• Provide excellent customer service to investors at all times.
• Resolve complex problems and manage expectations to prevent recurrence.
• Systematically assess and schedule tasks using proprietary technology and centralized teams.
• Proactively create tasks for Roofstock team members and follow up.
• Build strong virtual relationships with Roofstock departments.
• Embrace innovation by testing software and processes and giving feedback.
• Discuss and cross-sell Roofstock real estate products.
• Oversee onsite managers for properties with 16+ apartments.
• Assist investors with buying/selling income properties.
• Represent the company in eviction-related court hearings when required.
