Job summary

PURHomeRiver is seeking an Associate Property Management Attorney to handle real estate and property management litigation across the Company's operating jurisdictions. This remote role reports to the General Counsel and involves evaluating claims, coordinating discovery, and managing outside counsel.

Required is a J.D. from an accredited law school, an active US license, and at least 3 years of civil litigation experience related to real estate or landlord-tenant matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. and bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Minimum 3 years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience in real estate, property management, or landlord-tenant disputes.
• Experience interpreting federal, state and local landlord-tenant regulations.
• Experience drafting or reviewing legal agreements and policies.

Responsibilities

• Advise on and manage property management litigation across jurisdictions.
• Oversee outside counsel handling civil litigation and hearings.
• Ensure regulatory and administrative compliance with applicable laws.
• Coordinate responses to subpoenas, depositions, and audits.
• Draft and update operational agreements and licensing documentation.
