Job summary

State Farm is seeking a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist to handle accident and weather-related homeowner, commercial, and large losses. You will be the first contact to explain coverage, estimate damages, and guide insureds through the claims process with Remarkable service.

You will conduct on-site inspections, collaborate with stakeholders, and pursue resolutions with strong customer focus. Remote-field work within designated territory with travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments for residential and commercial claims.
• Collaborate with policyholders, agents, and others to gather information and resolve claims.
• Interact with emotionally charged parties when necessary during inspections or resolutions.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
• Gather evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed reports.
• Investigate and adjust property claims with exposures up to $500,000.
• Evaluate coverage and terms to determine claim validity and compliance.
• Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits per policy and standards.
