Job summary

National General, part of The Allstate Corporation, seeks an Inside Property Adjuster to investigate and confirm facts of loss for complex Homeowners Claims. You will determine coverage, assess damages, identify subrogation and fraud potential, and negotiate settlements while delivering exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate has experience with residential property claims, knowledge of construction and policy interpretation, and can guide junior adjusters and specialty teams.

Qualifications

• Experience handling residential property claims.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction, home repair and policy interpretation.
• Ability to guide junior adjusters and specialty claim teams.

Responsibilities

• Applies increased experience in the Adjuster II level or rotation into a specialty position.
• Partner with assigned reps on fraud or subrogation to achieve best outcomes.
• Recognize residential construction and repair components, including structural integrity.
• Identify complex customer needs and meet them with skilled service.
• Determine subrogation or fraud potential and appropriate handling.
• Demonstrate advanced understanding of policies and organizational relationships.
