Job summary

Greystar in Tampa, FL is offering a 10-week Property Accounting Internship where you'll handle full-cycle accounting tasks for a set of properties, review financial statements, prepare journal entries, reconcile banks, and support internal controls.

The Summer Internship includes in-house training, mentorship, site visits, and exposure across Investment, Finance, IT, Data, Leasing, Development, and Operations, culminating in a Final Capstone Project.

Qualifications

• Curiosity and a desire to learn
• Quantitative background with analytical ability
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Attention to detail and meeting deadlines
• Preferred major: Accounting/Finance or related
• Graduating December 2026–May 2027

Responsibilities

• Learn the line of business and team responsibilities within Greystar's real estate operations
• Complete in-house training programs for applications and techniques
• Assist in monitoring monthly operating results and financial reports
• Support development of financial outlooks and forecasts
• Help prepare financial reports and presentations for internal use
• Assist in annual budgeting by gathering and organizing data
• Collaborate with teams to provide financial insights
• Support other projects to gain exposure to financial planning
• Build relationships with Greystar teams to reach shared goals
