Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Property Accounting Intern to gain hands-on experience with full-cycle accounting for multiple properties, review financial statements, prepare journal entries, and assist with bank reconciliations and controls.

The 10-week Summer Internship offers exposure to Investment, Finance, Marketing, IT, Data, Leasing, Development, or Operations, with real projects and a capstone presentation at the end.

Qualifications

• Curiosity and desire to learn while supporting finance tasks.
• Quantitative background with strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• High accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
• Preferred major: Accounting, Finance, or related degree.
• Graduating between December 2026 and May 2027.

Responsibilities

• Learn the line of business, daily team responsibilities, and the finance function within Greystar.
• Complete in-house training programs for applications and techniques.
• Assist in analyzing monthly operating results and financial reports.
• Support development of financial outlooks and forecasts.
• Help prepare financial reports and presentations for internal use.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process with data gathering and organization.
• Collaborate with teams to provide financial insights and support.
• Participate in various projects to gain exposure to financial planning.
