Greystar, a leading global real estate platform, seeks an accounting professional to apply GAAP, analyze financial data, reconcile statements, and assist in budgeting and reporting for management.

Responsibilities include journal entries, budget reviews, bank reconciliations, and liaising with auditors. The role supports on-site and remote teams and requires proactive, detailed financial work and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 3 years minimum relevant accounting experience with GAAP.
• Experience analyzing financial data and preparing reports.
• Proactive, self-directed and able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Compiles and analyzes financial information for general ledger entries and prepares journal entries.
• Reviews budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and resolves discrepancies.
• Performs bank reconciliations and wire transfers and ensures accuracy.
• Maintains accounting control procedures and budget levels to control expenditures.
• Analyzes resources for acquisitions, dispositions, and closings and budgets/expenditures.
• Liaises with internal and external auditors to explain entries and provide data.
• Communicates with on-site property managers to complete pre-close and close activities.
• Completes various financial, accounting, and administrative reports.
