Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Project Quality Leader to manage a team of quality engineers supporting a portfolio of projects in the United States.

The role focuses on delivering quality deliverables per customer contracts and ensuring compliance with GE Vernova standards throughout the project lifecycle. You will develop the team, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to meet project quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of project quality engineers, including setting direction, planning & assigning workload, and supporting customer interfaces
• Responsible for centralized quality assurance and control activities for a given project or group of projects during Inquiry to Order (ITO) and Order to Remittance (OTR).
• Develop in-depth knowledge of technical discipline and execute policy/strategy
• Provide guidance to new team members and train on project & business level processes and tools
• Assist project managers in quality related matters; ensure interface coordination between all stakeholders during ITO and OTR Project Life Cycle Phases
• Develop and ensure Project Quality Plan and Inspection & Test Plan requirements are identified and complied with
• Follow-up on Project Key Indicators and manage non-conformity, root cause analysis and continuous improvement
• Participate in Project Reviews and support auditing and surveillance of subcontractor & supplier activities
• Develop and deliver quality related training and tools; act as SME for designated equipment and quality tools/processes
