Job summary

GE Vernova Grid Solutions is seeking a Project Procurement Team Leader (PPTL) to guide procurement execution for North America grid projects. You will lead project buyers and PPLMs, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while adhering to GE Vernova sourcing policies.

You will drive KPI performance, organize regular team meetings, and mentor staff. Strong leadership, SAP experience, and stakeholder communication are essential, with remote work options in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of procurement or supply chain experience in project-based industries.
• At least 3 years of team leadership experience and mentoring small teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily procurement execution activities, ensuring timely PO creation, approvals, documentation, and expediting in line with project schedules.
• Act as the first escalation point for procurement execution and supplier-related issues with clear communication to internal stakeholders.
• Track and report procurement performance metrics (OTD, PO cycle time, savings, claims) and drive improvement actions.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide onboarding and continuous training to team members.
• Coach and mentor team members to strengthen performance and problem-solving.
• Foster a culture of operational discipline, compliance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
