AECOM is seeking a Project Manager – Transmission & Distribution to join our energy practice. This role will plan, direct, and execute medium to large projects for electric utilities, with a REMOTE basis and hybrid work in San Diego, CA.

You'll lead project teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and collaborate with clients and global stakeholders to deliver safe, reliable, and resilient energy infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• PM experience related to transmission and substation projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage full life cycle of substation or transmission projects.
• Lead design, permitting, construction, and milestones.
• Collaborate with global project teams to ensure client satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts.
• Support business development and profitable growth.
• Manage internal project finances, staffing, risk, and governance.
