Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting seeks a Project Manager for Special Projects and Innovation (SPI) to oversee data center AI-enabled monitoring initiatives and IoT networks. Remote work from anywhere in the United States is typical, with periodic travel to job sites and labs.

You will guide concepts through prototypes and pilots, coordinating technical leads, vendors, and project resources while managing budgets, schedules, and capacity across concurrent efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; 5+ years managing technical projects or programs
• Certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Agile/Scrum preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple SPI initiatives from concept to handoff
• Coordinate technical leads, vendors, and resources to keep schedules and budgets
• Lead project reporting, risk management, and postmortems
• Travel to job sites for demonstrations and field pilots as needed
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and drive innovation
