Job summary

Solutions Insights Lab (SIL) at Solutions Journalism Network seeks a Project Manager to oversee SIL projects from kickoff to final delivery. This is a remote, U.S.-based role with East Coast timezone preferred.

Reports to the Deputy Director, SIL, and partners with researchers, interviewers, and clients to translate commitments into actionable plans. You will coordinate workplans, milestones, interviews, research, and engagement activities; manage risks and resources; and ensure outputs meet

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of project management experience in nonprofit or development settings.
• Proficiency with Asana as a core project management tool.
• Strong written and verbal communication for partners and teams.
• Ability to coordinate research, interviews, and engagement activities.
• Experience delivering projects on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of SIL client engagements from launch to delivery.
• Develop and maintain workplans, timelines, milestones, and project trackers.
• Coordinate interviews, research, writing, partner review, engagement, and final delivery.
• Manage multiple teams and partners across projects.
• Plan engagement activities and multimedia content for clients.
• Document lessons learned and share with leadership.
