Job summary

Potbelly Corporate is seeking a Project Manager for New Shop Openings in Chicago. This remote-friendly role manages the NSO process from construction start to opening, coordinating Franchise and Corporate teams to ensure on-time openings and strong initial sales.

You will drive readiness reviews, mitigations, and post-opening performance analysis. The position requires project management experience, excellent coaching and communication skills, and proficiency with Excel and project tools.

Qualifications

• Must have project management experience and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Ability to coach and influence field leaders and staff.
• Strong communication skills across franchise and corporate teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with project-tracking tools used in NSO environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams on plans, schedules and details across multiple departments.
• Own end-to-end NSO lifecycle from construction start to post-opening stabilization.
• Serve as liaison between Franchise and Corporate teams with strong collaboration.
• Develop realistic implementation schedules and monitor milestones and readiness.
