Job summary

Liberty University is seeking a Project Manager III to lead projects through full life cycle, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and resources. This remote role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks, and delivering stakeholder updates while aligning with LU priorities and Christian mission.

The ideal candidate has 3-4+ years in project management, familiarity with Agile/Waterfall, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Mid-level technical experience with transferable knowledge of project delivery tools, systems, or business processes.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience is required.
• 3-4+ years of project management or related professional experience is required.
• Experience working with teams with chat assistive technologies is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Manage project execution throughout the full project life cycle to ensure adherence to defined scope, schedule, and resource constraints.
• Develop and maintain a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and associated project planning artifacts.
• Direct or coordinate activities of cross-functional project team members.
• Prepare and deliver project status reports and performance updates to stakeholders.
• Develop and implement a stakeholder-informed communication plan tailored to project needs.
• Adhere to Liberty University policies, representing the University in an exemplary and professional manner.
• Work effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s Christian model and Mission – Training Champions for Christ.
