Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee initiatives across multiple platforms, ensuring delivery within defined scope, schedule, and resources. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, maintain a WBS, and report progress to stakeholders in a university context.

Remote, full-time position with a salary range of $60,000–$70,000 annually. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Mid-level technical experience; with transferable knowledge of project delivery tools, systems, or business processes.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience is required.
• CAPM, CSM, or PSM I.
• 3-4+ years of project management or related professional experience is required.
• Experience working with teams with chat assistive technologies is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Manage project execution throughout the full project life cycle to ensure adherence to defined scope, schedule, and resource constraints.
• Develop and maintain a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and associated project planning artifacts.
• Direct or coordinate activities of cross-functional project team members.
• Prepare and deliver project status reports and performance updates to stakeholders.
• Develop and implement a stakeholder-informed communication plan tailored to project needs.
• Adhere to LU policies, representing the University in an exemplary and professional manner.
