Job summary

ICF seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead the Head Start National Customer Service Improvement Project (CSIP), delivering program management and data services for the Administration for Children and Families.

You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, monitor performance metrics, and ensure on-time, compliant delivery of milestones, reports, and deliverables under a large federal contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business/public administration or related field.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible project or program management experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting HHS, ACF, or Office of Head Start programs.
• US government security clearance required (will be initiated upon hire).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of a large, multi-year federal contract supporting Head Start and Early Head Start programs nationwide.
• Oversee implementation of project management, quality control, communications, and staffing plans.
• Ensure timely and compliant delivery of all contract milestones, reports, and deliverables.
• Monitor performance against established metrics and address risks and issues.
• Serve as the primary liaison with government stakeholders, coordinating communications and project activities.
• Plan and facilitate recurring status meetings, performance reviews, and briefings.
