Job summary

McGraw Hill is seeking a Project Manager, Operations to own production schedules and tracking systems for eBook and SmartBook titles. You will work in a general office environment with some remote work, coordinating across product teams to keep schedules and content ready for release.

You will manage high-volume projects, maintain documentation, and drive continuous improvements while embracing accessibility standards and AI-powered tools to enhance efficiency and delivery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years of project management experience in digital content production.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills across all levels of an organization, internal and external.
• Technical troubleshooting, quick adaptation, and creative problem-solving in a dynamic setting.
• Excellent time management with attention to data integrity across systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Smartsheet tracking systems for eBook and SmartBook titles.
• Coordinate Jira ticket creation and lifecycle management for production.
• Configure and maintain the Smartsheet-Jira Connector for automatic status reflection.
• Maintain project management documentation for eBook and SmartBook programs.
• Assist with selected eBook production tasks and pre-authoring inputs.
• Act as PM on a list of titles to deepen production process knowledge.
• Support datasheet review and timely PO creation with the team manager.
• Identify risks, adapt plans, and resolve issues creatively.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders; ensure data accuracy.
• Champion accessibility standards across deliverables for equitable learning.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives and pilot new tools/workflows, including AI-powered options.
• Support other projects and duties as assigned.
