Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems Division (EESS) seeks a Project Manager for Critical Power Projects. This role can be based remotely within one of the following states and have ready access to a major airport: California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Idaho, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, or Louisiana, with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 3+ years in design-build electrical projects.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Eligibility to obtain security clearance and work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Contract administration for electrical, mechanical, and civil disciplines with scope management and budget oversight.
• Lead design-build and critical power projects through full lifecycle from site assessment to commissioning.
• Manage planning, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, change management, and resource coordination.
• Oversee modernization, upgrade, installation, and commissioning of critical power systems and infrastructure.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and field activities.
• Ensure safety, quality, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction objectives are met.
• Provide technical and project leadership to customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and change orders with contract compliance.
• Support sales and service teams with technical expertise and execution strategies.
