Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a Project Manager to lead company-wide technical projects from initiation through completion, including cloud migration and infrastructure work. You will coordinate R&D and other departments, serve as Scrum master for development teams, and ensure timely, high-quality production releases.

Reporting to the VP of Research and Development, this remote-friendly role is open to candidates in the United States with a preference for Milwaukee, WI and Raleigh, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, CS, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in a software development or technology environment.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders in complex project environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience facilitating sprint ceremonies.
• Familiarity with project management tools (required); Jira is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage company-wide strategic projects from planning through execution, including large-scale initiatives such as cloud migration and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple departments including R&D, Customer Success, Operations, and Engineering to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes.
• Serve as Scrum manager for development teams, facilitating sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Coordinate production release cycles, including identification, tracking, and prioritization of production tickets and deployment coordination.
• Develop and execute communication plans for major projects, including customer communication strategies and stakeholder updates.
• Maintain project documentation, timelines, roadmaps, and status reports for executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Track project metrics, manage budgets and resources, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with team leads and technical stakeholders to resolve blockers and ensure project momentum.
