Job summary

MKS Instruments is seeking a Project Manager to lead capital engineering projects across multiple sites. This remote role focuses on delivering innovative and safe infrastructure while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering, with 3+ years of related experience and a proven track record in budgeting and delivering complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of related experience required.
• Qualifications in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering (Degree or equivalent experience).
• Proven project management experience including budgeting and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Senior Program Manager for end-to-end project delivery, from concept and design through to commissioning.
• Providing mechanical and electrical engineering expertise to support operational performance and improvements.
• Managing project budgets, timelines and resources, ensuring investments deliver expected outcomes.
• Partnering closely with operational teams to deliver practical, value-driven engineering solutions.
• Deliver projects safely, promoting a zero harm / zero incident culture.
• Provide expert mechanical and electrical engineering support across capital projects.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors and site teams.
• Apply value engineering and best practice to optimize project outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and performance improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all engineering, HSE, and CDM regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across regional operations.
• Interpret and challenge technical designs, drawings and specifications (CAD).
