Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Project Director-Hydro Projects to oversee the execution of hydro deliveries from handover through completion, ensuring safety, schedule, and cost targets are met.

The role requires 5–15 years in power generation, 3 years as a Project Director, and fluency in French and English. Remote, US-based with no visa sponsorship; compensation ranges from $132,200 to $220,400 annually.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering.
• 5 to 15 years of relevant power generation industrial experience.
• 3 years of Project Director experience.
• Experience in international project execution.
• Large construction (EPC) and site experience.
• Fluent in both French and English.
• Unrestricted Canadian work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project execution strategies to meet performance goals
• Manage communication with customers and internal teams
• Organize the project team and secure necessary resources
• Monitor key performance indicators and take necessary actions
• Establish and monitor the Project Quality Plan and EHS Plan
• Define and manage claim strategy and actions
• Develop and update the Risk Management Plan for projects
• Assume full responsibility for the project from handover to completion
• Build and lead a high-performing project team
• Develop and monitor the Master Time Schedule to support timely project completion
