Job summary

Babcock & Wilcox is seeking a Project Developer to lead the development of winning project strategies from opportunity to contract execution. You will ensure proposals are competitive, technically sound, and commercially structured to secure profitable contracts while aligning with company objectives.

You will engage with clients, collaborate with sales, and manage Bid/No Bid decisions while maintaining records and communicating status to upper management. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of winning project strategies from opportunity to contract execution
• Inform pursuit strategies by analyzing industry trends, drivers and competition
• Develop cost models and strengthen proposal efforts with product leads
• Engage clients to clarify scope and advocate for company capabilities
• Coordinate with Sales to define winning strategies and convert to proposal plans
• Manage Bid/No Bid decisions and assess risk and commercial feasibility
• Collaborate with Proposal Management on budgets and resources
• Coach teams on responding to RFPs with clear value propositions
• Guide commercial terms with legal and obtain early management approval
• Negotiate strategies and support turnover to PM team
• Maintain records in proposal monitoring system and report status
• Deliver strong presentations to internal and external stakeholders
• Travel up to 30% as required
