Job summary

Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems Division (EESS) is seeking a Project Cost Controls Specialist. This role can be based remote within the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
3+ years of experience in project cost controls, project coordination, finance, or related fields.
Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship; no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT visa support.
Relocation assistance not provided; must reside in listed states.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain project cost tracking tools from awarded budgets.
Lead bi-weekly project financial reviews and support forecasting activities.
Support procurement activities including BOM development and equipment orders.
Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders for pricing and quotes.
Review change orders for contractual compliance and margin optimization.
Monitor equipment orders and delivery schedules; provide status updates.
Prepare and submit project documentation and submittals; manage document control.
Provide Bidman proposal support and intercompany equipment order processing.
Manage intercompany warranty claims and related administrative tasks.
