Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced Project Accountant to provide comprehensive financial administration, perform accounting and cost analysis, and guide fiscal management for assigned projects in alignment with Turner policies.

You will partner with Operations to review budgets, monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable, and support month-end close, audits, and project closeout with attention to accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience, with at least 1 year as project accountant.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and company policies.
• Proficient with SAP and Textura; advanced MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analytical support that drives project outcomes and implement financial procedures for complex contracts.
• Partner with Operations to review budgets and reflect risk and profitability.
• Communicate project risks to senior leadership and manage cash flow.
• Oversee accounts payable for vendors and subcontractors and assist with month-end close.
