Job summary

Commence is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Delivery organization in a federal government contracting environment. You will manage Jira tickets, coordinate meetings, and maintain project documentation to keep workstreams aligned and progress visible.

The role emphasizes a proactive, self-starting approach, sharp organization, and the ability to produce clear PMO reporting while working remotely.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting project teams in a federal government contracting environment.
• Proficient in at least one agile work management platform and quick to learn new tools.
• Ability to produce clear, professional documentation and meeting notes.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Jira ticket health across active project boards with current statuses and due dates.
• Create, update and close Jira tickets per project workflows and PM direction.
• Schedule and facilitate recurring project meetings and capture action items.
• Draft and distribute project status updates and executive summaries.
• Support onboarding of new team members and continuity of PM processes.
