Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join our Data Center development team. You will drive cost and commercial management across North America projects, collaborating with the North America Commercial Director and project teams to ensure smooth financial processes from inception to completion. The role requires 5–7 years in mission-critical construction, proficiency with cost-control tools, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

PMP or P.E. are desirable.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience delivering mission-critical construction projects in corporate real estate or military settings.
• Proficient budgeting, accounting, and cost-control systems (Oracle, Tririga, Google Live Sheets).
• Strong leadership with ability to influence stakeholders and work independently.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field; PMP or P.E. desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead Financial Oversight: manage cost and commercial process; align forecasts with funding, billings, and close-out activities.
• Drive Change Control: evaluate budget revisions, review invoices, flag risks and changes.
• Ensure Governance & Compliance: SME for governance/training materials; ensure projects meet standards.
