SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a Project Civil Engineer to join our growing team. The role focuses on civil site design, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, with opportunities for leadership and business development.

Located with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements; remote-friendly options may be considered for qualified candidates. Pittsburgh, PA experience is noted, with potential for other locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in PA or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
• 4+ years of experience for Associate Project Civil Engineer; 5+ years for Project Civil Engineer.

Responsabilités

• Lead engineering design and development of construction drawings.
• Oversee CAD design efforts and mentor junior engineers on CAD standards.
• Manage project scope, budget, and schedule for successful delivery.
• Support engineering needs across SWCA offices with technical guidance.
• Coordinate with teams to balance workloads and meet schedules.
• Conduct technical reviews of deliverables for accuracy and consistency.
• Assist with Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes.
• Develop and implement safety plans and address hazards.
• Build strong client relationships through effective communication.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities via client relationships and collaboration.
