Job summary

EnviroScience, Inc. is seeking a mid-level Civil Project Engineer to support environmental regulation compliance and sustainable stormwater/wastewater solutions for municipal and private clients.

You will collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget. The role emphasizes design, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM), permit preparation, and coordination with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• Ohio PE license or E.I. eligible within 12 months.
• Minimum 3 years of site/civil engineering experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and development for stormwater, water/wastewater, and utility systems.
• Support for municipal and private development projects including green infrastructure.
• Conduct hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and generate H&H reports.
• Perform feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
• Lead plan set development to convey design intent and meet project goals.
• Provide technical support to government agencies on water resources.
• Estimate project costs and prepare bid documents.
• Conduct water quality studies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare permit applications (EPA PTI, NPDES, etc.).
• Collaborate with managers, clients, and other engineers to deliver on time and budget.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards, and regulations.
