Job summary

HED is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join its Mission Critical team, delivering data center projects for US-based and international clients. This role requires hands-on leadership of a multidisciplinary design and engineering team.

The ideal candidate has eight years in A/E, four in Mission Critical, and strong skills in Revit and client coordination. The position supports remote work with occasional site visits and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and licensure required.
• LEED Accredited preferred with a focus on sustainable, resilient design.
• Eight+ years in the A/E industry with four years Mission Critical experience.
• Deep knowledge of schematic design through project close-out and coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Revit; comfortable leading a diverse project team.
• Willingness to collaborate with remote teams via video conferencing.
• Capable of traveling to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee large, integrated architecture and engineering projects.
• Coordinate with clients, developers, authorities, and consultants to meet milestones.
• Develop and monitor project scope, fee, and staffing plans.
• Prepare and review project specifications and documentation in Revit.
• Attend project meetings and manage submittals and RFI responses.
• Mentor staff and ensure high-quality architectural deliverables.
