Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Project Accounting Specialist for a Fortune 500 client in San Antonio, TX. You will support the Controllership function by interpreting government contracts and setting up projects in Deltek Costpoint.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project managers, managing a small team of analysts, and tracking metrics to drive compliant project setup processes. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting government contracts (FFP, T&M, Cost-Type)
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint for project setup/accounting
• Supervisory experience leading project setup analysts
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 6 years relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret government contracts and set up projects in Deltek Costpoint.
• Use ServiceNow to initiate and manage project setup requests.
• Coordinate with project managers to confirm contract terms for setup.
• Supervise day-to-day work of project setup analysts and provide feedback.
• Track and report metrics related to project setup processes.
