Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a billing specialist for an 18-month full-time contract based remotely in Ontario, Canada. You will interpret contracts, configure terms in Sage, and generate invoices with full supporting documentation.

You'll establish client and project codes, validate pricing, and ensure timely revenue recognition. The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration with Finance and PM teams, and adherence to internal controls and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Less than 2 years of experience in billing support or contract administration.
• Working knowledge of contract administration and basic accounting principles.
• Prior experience with Sage is considered an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other business productivity tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data evaluation.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and configure commercial terms in contracts and systems.
• Establish client and project codes and billing setups for units.
• Validate contract pricing and update fee structures.
• Execute client billing activities accurately and on schedule.
• Prepare and issue client invoices with supporting documentation.
• Maintain billing files and track budgets and PO limits.
• Record revenue and costs in the accounting system per policies.
• Monitor billing activity and resolve discrepancies with partners.
• Collaborate with Finance, PM, and clients on invoice questions and contract updates.
