Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a talented Program Manager to lead client relationships and design project approaches while overseeing contracts and budgets. This role focuses on communicating with leadership and monitoring progress toward business goals.

Ideal candidates have Medicaid experience (3–5 years with a bachelor’s or 7+ years without), PMP certification or willingness to obtain within a year, and strong MS Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills. Fully remote within the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years Medicaid experience, or 7+ years without a degree.
• Strong presenter; able to train and mentor junior colleagues.
• Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint and Word.
• PMP certification or willingness to obtain within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Builds and manages client relationships, with support from Program Director, ensuring client satisfaction
• Works with client(s) to design the project approach and develop service delivery plans
• Oversight and management of contracts, specific products/services or special projects
• Continuous monitoring and timely reporting to leadership of progress towards business goals
• Manages, prepares and monitors budget and revenue expectations for assigned client(s)
• May supervise additional account management staff (i/e Program Specialist)
• Actively project manage across non-direct reports, while recommending program changes as needed
• Ability to quickly escape any risk(s) and implement risk mitigation solutions
