Job summary

Gainwell is seeking a Senior Professional Project Manager to strengthen the quality and smooth running of important projects. You will lead medium-sized PM teams, guide staff, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables for clients.

Responsibilities include interfacing with clients and leadership, driving program budgets and schedules, mitigating risks, and preparing statements of work for stakeholder approval. A PMP and Medicaid/Medicare experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience managing complex projects and programs across full PM lifecycle.
• Certifications: PMP or equivalent preferred.
• Strong budgeting, cost control and program accounting knowledge.
• Proven leadership with ability to mentor junior staff and communicate with executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more medium-sized project management teams within a larger program.
• Staffing and directing assigned personnel to meet deadlines and quality goals.
• Interface with client and leadership, track metrics, and propose program changes.
• Drive deliverable quality across all phases, define schedules, definitions and budgets.
• Identify risks, report status, and mitigate issues to maintain timeliness.
• Prepare detailed SOWs and obtain stakeholder approval.
