Job summary

HIAS is seeking an Associate Manager, Preferred Communities to support resettlement and integration of refugees and newcomers in the HIAS network. The role focuses on program oversight, collaboration with local partners, data management, and compliance with ORR guidelines.

The position involves coordinating budgets, training, and technical assistance for affiliates, with travel within the U.S. as needed and a grant-funded, contingent on funding arrangement.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field is preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant professional experience required.
• Knowledge of and experience with the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program strongly preferred, including experience supporting refugees and immigrants through case management or wraparound services.
• Previous work experience at a national resettlement agency or local resettlement provider required.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted technical assistance to HIAS affiliate partners and conduct assessments to identify service gaps.
• Oversee multiple PC program areas and funding streams, ensuring alignment with ORR guidance.
• Review budgets and approve invoices; coordinate subaward processes with Grants Administration teams.
• Support semi-annual and annual PC reporting to the federal funder.
• Oversee PC data management, including Apricot data, dashboard reviews, and RADS submissions.
• Conduct in-person and desk monitoring and support affiliates in addressing findings.
