Job summary

MIKEL is seeking a Program Manager to support the TSUB Combat System Contract Program Office. You will oversee program definition, short/long-range plans, and the technical approach for Navy submarine initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years in Navy program management, strong engineering documentation skills, and the ability to manage milestones, schedules, and budgets. Remote delivery is allowed with core hours in the DC Metro area; U.S. citizenship and a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

5+ years of Navy Program Management experience.
2+ years of Navy Engineering Support experience.
Ability to analyze and process engineering program documentation.
Ability to assess and update spend plans.
Ability to develop/document/implement new processes.
Ability to analyze program risks and develop risk assessments.
Must be proactive, work independently, and within a team.
Ability to travel 1–3 times per year.
Experience or familiarity with the BYG-1 submarine combat system.

Responsibilities

Lead the overall planning, direction, and success of major Navy programs and systems development efforts.
Formulate and guide the technical approach; coordinate with activity and agency for resources.
Establish and control technical milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs.
