Job summary

MIKEL seeks a Program Manager to lead the TSUB Combat System Contract Program Office activities, with responsibilities spanning program definition, milestone setting, and cost control. The role requires proactive, independent work ethic and ability to travel 1-3 times/year to the DC metro/RI area for client support.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years Navy program management, 2+ years Navy engineering support, and experience with risk assessments, process development, and Jira/Agile environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Navy program management experience.
• 2+ years in Navy engineering support or related program effort.
• Ability to analyze and update spend plans and manage costs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall program definition, organization and direction of long-range plans.
• Formulate and guide technical approaches; negotiate with agencies for resources.
• Establish and control technical milestones, schedules and budgets.
