Job summary

American Cancer Society is seeking a Program Manager to plan, execute, and monitor cross-functional programs across pillars and regions. This fully remote role can be based anywhere in the US and requires strong project management, communication, and stakeholder collaboration.

You will develop project plans, dashboards, and reports; manage risks; coordinate contracting and vendor work; and use data to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in program management.
• Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor programs and projects to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Coordinate internal partners across pillars, regions, and programs to define scope, objectives, timelines, and success measures.
• Coordinate cross-functional and external partners, serving as a primary point of contact for program operations.
• Develop and maintain project plans, dashboards, and documentation to track progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, document actions, and ensure accountability.
• Identify and mitigate risks; escalate issues as appropriate.
• Prepare reports and updates for leadership and partners.
• Support contracting, vendor coordination, and resource management.
• Use data and feedback to inform continuous improvement.
• Support trainings, events, or convenings as required.
