Job summary

The American Cancer Society in Puerto Rico is seeking a program coordinator to implement and monitor prevention and detection initiatives within priority accounts and communities of focus. You will work with staff, volunteers, and local partners to deliver impactful programs and meet mission targets.

You will collaborate with medical teams, manage data registrations, and coordinate event contracts while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health care or related field.
• 3+ years in oncology or community health education.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Executes cancer prevention and detection programs and coordinates ROI and community needs.
• Coordinates delivery of staff and volunteer-based patient service programs in non-metro areas and manages local collaborations.
• Ensures staff integration, engages volunteers, and collaborates with Development and Event leads.
