Job summary

The William & Mary Washington Center in Washington, DC seeks a full-time Program Manager to oversee three innovative degree-seeking partnerships. You will coordinate across the Washington Center, School of Education, and other units, managing logistics, student support, and program assessment.

You will lead data-driven improvements, engage with faculty and external partners, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards while supporting program growth and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in higher education administration, education, public policy, program evaluation, assessment, or related field.
• Significant experience in higher education, K-12 education administration, academic program administration, nonprofit management, or related field.
• Experience coordinating complex programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of academic assessment, student learning outcomes, rubric development, or program evaluation.
• Ability to interpret and communicate quantitative and qualitative data for program improvement.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on professional projects with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple units and supervisors.
• Ability to coordinate with partner schools, faculty, administrative offices, students, alumni, and external organizations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day administration of up to three partnership programs at the Washington Center.
• Coordinate program logistics across multiple university units and external partners.
• Serve as central point of contact among faculty, leadership, and students.
• Coordinate classroom space, calendars, course logistics, and student-facing operations in Washington, D.C. and Williamsburg.
• Support launch, scaling, and refinement of new academic offerings.
• Exercise independent judgment to resolve operational challenges across units and stakeholders.
• Coordinate program assessment aligned with SCHEV and SACSCOC standards and institutional practices.
• Develop and refine student learning outcomes, rubrics, and evidence-based improvements.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative assessment data.
