Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting with three or more years of experience in Federal government contracting.
• Experience providing financial tracking and support for government customers in Program Control, Finance, Cost Estimating, Financial Analysis or Accounting.
• US Citizenship.
• No clearance to start; Secret clearance required to maintain employment.
• Knowledge of general and corporate business practices, government contracting regulations and accounting/finance principles.
• Understanding of financial analysis such as ROS, ROC, operating plans, AR, revenue and profit forecasts, and cost estimating/pricing.
• Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while following policies and procedures.
• Ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.
• Strong analytical thinking to identify patterns in financial data.
• Advanced Excel skills for data modeling and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Interface with program managers, accounting, contracts, subcontracts, and procurement organizations, and external customers daily to address operational issues.
• Prepare financial deliverables and internal/external reports.
• Assist in development of budgets (spend plans) for assigned programs and perform financial analysis on funding profiles and program variances.
• Conduct cost, schedule, and contract performance variance analysis.
• Submit and monitor purchase requisitions for subcontractors, consultants, and materials; review invoices and monitor subcontractor costs.
• Review, track and approve customer invoice backup documentation.
• Multitask and support programs with efficiency and accuracy.
• Understand the full life cycle of a program from proposal through contract closeout.
• Develop and propose COAs and recommendations for financial issues.
