Job summary

IXL Learning is seeking a Professional Learning Specialist to deliver impactful professional development and webinars, both virtually and in-person, across districts. You will partner with leaders to plan sessions, host regional IXL Live events, and collaborate with sales to pilot IXL in schools.

This is a remote, full-time role focused on educators in the Phoenix area, with significant travel advantages. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of K-12 teaching experience, strong presentation

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree.
• 5+ years teaching experience in a K-12 setting; leadership background a plus.
• Educational professional development experience strongly preferred.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive, collaborative attitude.
• Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience using Google Apps and Zoom.
• Must live close to a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a product expert, providing educators with implementation strategies tailored to their classroom needs.
• Partner with school and district leaders to plan and deliver virtual and in-person professional development.
• Travel to facilitate in-person professional development sessions up to 60% during back-to-school season and up to 40% the remainder of the year.
• Set up, host, and present at regional IXL Live events, working with the events team.
• Collaborate with the sales team to support schools piloting IXL.
• Partner with customer success and sales team members to manage and grow customer relationships.
