Job summary

IXL Learning, a leader in personalized learning products, is seeking a Professional Learning Specialist for the Midwest (Chicago) to drive effective instructional technology integration through PD and national webinars.

You will collaborate with educators across grade levels to strengthen IXL implementation, deliver engaging sessions, and support schools through virtual and in-person formats. This role offers remote work in the Midwest and potentially travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years teaching experience in a K-12 setting
• Educational professional development experience strongly preferred
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive collaborative attitude
• Organized, methodical, and detail‑oriented
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and on a team
• Experience using Google Apps and Zoom
• Must live close to a major airport

Responsibilities

• Serve as a product expert, providing educators with implementation strategies tailored to their classroom needs
• Plan and deliver virtual and in‑person professional development for schools and districts
• Travel to facilitate in‑person professional development sessions (up to 60% during back-to-school season)
• Set up, host, and present at regional IXL Live events
• Collaborate with the sales team to support schools piloting IXL
• Partner with customer success and sales to manage and grow customer relationships
