Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Profee Auditing & Education Specialist to lead professional fee coding audits, develop education and training resources, and support multiple clients remotely. The role requires multi-specialty auditing expertise and the ability to educate coders and providers with clear rationale and reference documentation.

The position is fully remote with a flexible schedule, offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus and comprehensive training led by a credentialed coding manager.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Professional Fee coding and/or auditing
• 3+ years of Professional Fee education creation and presentation
• Multi-Specialty coding/auditing experience
• CPC
• CPMA (preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote
• Maintain 95% accuracy rate
• Experience with Epic, Cerner and other EMRs

Responsibilities

• Performs Professional Fee coding audits of medical records and abstracts using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers
• Provides rationale explaining changes with references and documentation location
• Organizes and prioritizes multiple cases to ensure workflow
• Develops and delivers virtual coder education programs (webinars, presentations, training materials)
• Identifies coding trends, audit findings and knowledge gaps; creates targeted educational content
• Collaborates with leadership to design educational materials and tools
• Serves as subject matter expert presenting coding topics to coders and providers
• Keeps a professional, efficient, positive demeanor and complies with ethics
