Datavant Corporation is seeking a Profee Audit Specialist for a fully remote, full-time role. You will perform professional fee coding audits, provide rationale, and support education programs for coders and clients.

The role requires multi-specialty auditing, CPC, CPMA preferred, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance. Competitive pay and benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Professional Fee coding and/or auditing with majority in auditing.
• 3+ years of Professional Fee education creation and presentation.
• Multi-Specialty coding/auditing experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote.
• Maintain 95% accuracy rate.
• Experience with EMR systems such as Epic and Cerner.

Responsibilities

• Performs Professional Fee coding audits of medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and modifiers.
• Provides concise rationale with locations and references for changes.
• Manages multiple cases concurrently to support workflow.
• Develops and delivers virtual coder education programs (webinars, trainings, resources).
• Identifies coding trends and knowledge gaps; creates targeted educational content.
• Collaborates with leadership and clients to maintain learning materials and tools.
• Acts as subject matter expert presenting coding and compliance topics to stakeholders.
• Maintains professional, efficient, and positive work conduct.
• Adheres to AAPC code of ethics.
• Demonstrates customer-service focus, professionalism, flexibility and commitment.
