Counterpart, a leading insurtech, seeks a Production Focused Risk Engineer to join our distributed US team. Drive underwriting performance using AI-assisted risk scoring, rapid pricing, and competitive quotes while collaborating with Risk Engineers to understand complex exposures.

You will work with wholesale brokers to bind new business, provide underwriting guidance, and contribute market feedback to product roadmaps. 3–7 years of underwriting experience required.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of underwriting experience in professional liability.
• Network of brokers, carriers, underwriters, or clients in professional liability space.
• Ability to engage with brokers to build profitable partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Achieve underwriting performance and revenue goals using AI-assisted scoring and triage.
• Price accounts quickly with AI-driven recommendations and guidelines.
• Provide quick, competitive quotes and align messaging with strategies.
• Collaborate with Risk Engineers to understand complex exposures.
• Bind new business by managing submission and quote lifecycle with brokers.
• Represent Counterpart at broker meetings and industry events.
• Surface market feedback to inform product roadmap and underwriting strategies.
