Counterpart is seeking a Production Risk Engineer focused on management and professional liability. You will analyze risk, collaborate with engineering, data, and operations teams, and develop liability products that brokers promote to clients.

The role emphasizes AI-driven risk scoring, rapid underwriting decisions, broker partnerships, and participation in broker meetings and industry events to shape the product and risk strategy.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of underwriting experience in management or professional liability.
• Established network of brokers, carriers, underwriters or clients in professional liability.
• Experience with specialty liability products and policy forms.
• Ability to engage with brokers for profitable partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed underwriting performance and revenue goals using AI-assisted risk scoring, automation and triage.
• Price accounts quickly with AI-driven rating and pricing recommendations.
• Provide quick, competitive quote communication using AI drafting tools.
• Collaborate with underwriting teams on complex account exposures.
• Serve as a trusted partner to wholesale brokers with underwriting guidance.
• Provide market feedback to improve terms, rates and guidelines.
• Bind new business accounts through brokers and submission lifecycle management.
• Represent Counterpart at broker meetings, industry conferences and events.
• Surface market feedback to inform product roadmap and underwriting strategies.
